A Vietnam visa costs only the government eVisa fee when you apply yourself on the official portal, evisa.gov.vn, with standard processing of 3 working days - the portal shows the current fee. If your trip is close or your eVisa is still pending, VietVisaGo's private support starts from US$99 per applicant, and the government fee is separate.
This guide sets out what you pay for a Vietnam visa, what the extra cost of faster support buys, and how to choose the cheapest option that still gets you on your flight. VietVisaGo is a private assistance service based in Port Macquarie NSW, Australia - not the Vietnamese government or the official eVisa portal.
How much is the Vietnam eVisa government fee?
The government eVisa fee is set by the Vietnamese authorities and paid on the official portal, evisa.gov.vn, which shows the current single-entry and multiple-entry fees. An eVisa is valid for up to 90 days, single or multiple entry, and eVisas have been issued to citizens of all countries and territories since 15 August 2023. Check the portal for the current amount before you pay. The government fee is non-refundable.
If you have more than 3 working days before you travel, applying yourself on the official portal may be all you need.
How much does it cost to get a Vietnam eVisa faster?
When time is short, VietVisaGo's request flow offers paid priority options for a new eVisa application. Our service prices are per applicant and separate from the government eVisa fee:
| Route | What you pay | May suit you when |
|---|---|---|
| Official portal, standard processing | The government fee only | You have more than 3 working days before travel |
| VietVisaGo priority options for a new eVisa | Our service price per applicant, plus the government fee | Standard processing will not finish before your flight |
| VietVisaGo support for a pending eVisa | From US$99 per applicant | You have applied and your eVisa is still pending close to departure |
| Weekend support | Shown in the request flow for your journey | You need processing over a weekend |
The current price of each priority option is shown on the page for your situation, and the team confirms the service, timing and payment before you pay.
You can start a new application on our apply for a Vietnam eVisa page.
What does it cost if my eVisa is already pending?
If you have already applied and your eVisa is still pending close to your flight, our speed-up support for existing applications starts from US$99 per applicant. Faster tiers cost more, and the current price of each tier is shown on the speed-up page.
Which tiers you can still choose depends on your flight timing. See speed up my Vietnam eVisa, or for a flight today or tomorrow, our urgent Vietnam eVisa support page.
Is the 'from' price the final price?
No. Our prices are starting rates. The final total depends on the service you choose, your flight timing and any add-ons, and the government eVisa fee is separate from our assistance fee. The team reviews your request and confirms the service, timing and payment before you pay.
What do I get for the extra cost?
Paying for support buys you a team that looks at your actual flight time and application status, and an agreed timeframe before you pay:
- Support options assessed against your flight timing and application status, including same-day and weekend flights.
- A processing timeframe agreed before payment, with a 100% refund of the total amount you paid us if the agreed visa service is not delivered.
- One team for both visa and airport fast track, with a booking reference and WhatsApp support on +61 415 973 380.
Visa approval is decided by Vietnam Immigration, not by VietVisaGo.
How much does Vietnam airport fast track cost?
Arrival and Departure Fast Track start from US$30 per passenger at Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), Hanoi (HAN), Da Nang (DAD) and Phu Quoc (PQC). The booking form works out your total before you submit. See airport fast track pricing for the packages at each airport.
How do I pay the least for my Vietnam visa?
Apply early. If you have more than 3 working days before you travel, the official portal at the government fee is the cheapest route. Paid support is for when time is short or your application is stuck. Our process is simple:
- Choose your service (new eVisa, existing eVisa support, Arrival or Departure Fast Track), or use the visa checker with your flight details.
- Send your details through the selected form (passport details, portrait, travel plans).
- The team reviews the request and confirms the service, timing and payment.
- Receive support and keep your booking reference.
The visa checker shows support options based on your nationality and flight timing; it does not show the official application status, which you check on evisa.gov.vn.
